Big, Fat, DVD Goodness
This fat mother just landed in my vile clutches:

I love getting DVD's at work. It just nudges my day over the line into "barely tolerable". Added to that, when I get something like this big, hunk of sex...I'm in lust with this old format all over again.
I liked the film in it's theatrical cut. I could feel the seams where something truly great was hemmed in. I've been dying to see this version since reports of it's existence. Then Collider hosted a badass sounding event where it was theatrically screened followed-up with a Q&A. Now, this thing is being practically GIVEN AWAY...and I got one. You should too.
It sort of reminds me how spoiled we are as consumers. Back in the laserdisc days something like this was, literally, a couple hundred dollars. A 4-disc DEFINITIVE document of a film for under $20?!?!?

Amazing flick, though. And the Collider event at the Arclight was trey sweet.
You goddam bet your ass its good. That's 2+ years of my life!
I just got through the film. Is this a first? I can't think of a film this substantially altered by a directors cut.
It's a masterpiece.
